West Ham know their first-round opponents will be one of Qabala FK (Azerbaijan), KF Renova (Macedonia), FC Lusitans (Andorra), Newtown (Wales) or FK Olimpic Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina).
First leg now at Upton Park
The games have been switched so the first leg is now at Upton Park on 2 July. This is because another Andorran side has also been drawn at home on that date.

Poyet needs to step it up based on last season. He had a few chances and for me on he whole didn't take them.

I watched the limited minutes he got with Uruguay at the U20 WC and he looked very slow and sluggish to me. Hope he picks it up this season, gets a chance and takes it by the scruff of the neck. His opportunities look limited though with the amount of interest we have in players that can play in there like Song and maybe even Cabaye plus we already have Kouyate, Noble and Obiang

Agreed Woody, feels like another new signing
Plays very deep and a bit too safe when i have seen him but could definitely grow into a good holding midfielder for me

I guess that is kind of what I meant. They would not be training fully if still really injured but more in need of match fitness than others.

Sakho and Tomkins were both injury free at the end of the season.
They are there to play because we need some first team quality and experience and they were picked because they had a long lay off at the end of last season.

Just watched Westley's interview and has he basically gave away the team
Said it'll be a big crowd so they'll want to see Sakho, Jarvis, Amalfitano, O'Brien, Tomkins and some of the young players like Oxford, Poyet, Cullen, Page and Lee.

Zarate was back a bit later but maybe depending on his fitness start instead of Lee and play in behind Sakho
Whatever happens they need to win by at least 5 or 6 because it's not ideal to have first team players travelling out to play on the plastic

Should have a more than decent attacking and defensive line...centre midfield is where we might look a little shaky/lacking experience.
Poyet and one other assumedly, unless he throws O'Brien in there alongside Poyet.

According to Ken Dyer, the ones training in Cork will return to prepare for the game on Thursday whilst the other players that reported for training today will swap and go to Cork tomorrow to continue their pre-season. More or less confirms what everyone thought that the team for this first tie will consist only of the players that began their training last week.

I don't believe Obiang is in the squad, as you can't register a player who isn't yours.
I think the UEFA site has just taken the information from West Ham and that isn't the squad.
As far as I know you don't have to register the B list until the day before the game.
